Atelier Leafs was born from a simple conviction: a room deserves greenery, without that greenery becoming a chore. We create artificial trees and plants so lifelike that no one gives them a second glance, until they realise not a single drop of water was ever involved.
Behind Atelier Leafs is Marijn, founder and art director of the brand. With a sharp eye for shape, texture and material, he personally selects and approves every tree and plant that makes it into the collection, from the curve of an olive branch to the way light falls across a leaf. For Marijn, a faux tree is only finished once it prompts the question we love to hear up close: ‘is this actually real?’
That precision is no accident. Atelier Leafs works with makers who finish every leaf by hand, rather than pulling ready-made shapes off a factory line. The result is a collection that doesn’t feel like decoration, but like a second nature: statuesque olive trees, sculptural fig trees and tropical palms that bring structure and warmth to a room, year after year, without ever losing their shine.
